We are happy to invite you to this Yoga for Awareness: Black Lives Matter event. Where there is listening, presence, and awareness, there is Yoga. We will begin with 108 Sun Salutations to develop and revel in the felt sense of awareness.
By first dropping into our bodies, we establish ourselves in a tangibly present awareness, allowing us to give space, and listen to a BLM message, and finally to sing, meditate and integrate.
我們很高興邀請您來參加「瑜伽。意識。——黑命攸關」活動。只要有傾聽、安住和意識的地方,就有瑜伽。我們會以108次拜日式作為開始,醞釀並沈浸在感觀的意識中。透過先深入地感受身體,我們將帶起對當下很實在的覺察力,從而敞開空間去傾聽「黑命攸關」的議題;而在最後,我們將一同歌唱、冥想、整合。
During the chanting and meditation segment, we will share practices for the cultivation of ahimsa (non-violence) and upeksha (equanimity), foundational teachings of Yoga. Ahimsa is not separate from truth or universal love; in effect, it involves a view of the world and everything as sacred. The lack of bias here is an integral part of the holistic non-violent approach that we call upeksha. This kind of equanimity can be understood as the wish and commitment to extend love to all beings equally; ultimately, this can only be done as we step into a sense of
panoramic love as our own identity.
在梵唱和冥想的時間裡,我們會分享培養ahimsa(非暴力)及upeksha(平等心)的練習,這也是瑜伽教導的根基。Ahimsa代表不離真實或大愛,實際上,它也包含將世界萬物視為神聖。這種不帶任何偏頗的態度,也屬於我們稱為upeksha的全面非暴力態度中的一部份。唯有當我們期盼並承諾平等地將愛普及所有眾生,才能真正理解這種平等心。而最終,也唯有當我們踏入宏觀全景的愛當中
,並認知自己為那份愛,才能真正達到平等心。
In Yoga, we are never at war with any part of our world – we are warriors of peace. As we discover subtler and more refined levels of our practice, we finally come to experience first hand the lofty claim of the Yoga Sutra: “If you make it a way of life never to hurt others, then in your presence all conflict comes to an end.” We hope this event lends to the process of becoming whole as a community.
在瑜伽裡,我們從不與世界任何一部份為敵,我們是和平勇士。隨著在自己的練習當中漸漸發掘更精微和細膩的層次,最終我們就會親身體驗到《瑜伽經》的崇高目標:「若你以永不傷害他人作為生活方式,那麼在你面前,所有衝突都將終止」。期盼藉由這場活動,幫助我們在互相扶持中,變得完整。

▋師資介紹

 

沙卡麗 Karina Arenas Bonansea

沙卡麗老師在國際施化難陀瑜伽吠檀多中心(the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers)完成了基礎師資培訓課程,和進階高級師資培訓課程,而且還參加了其他的培訓課程,像是跟David Swenson學習Ashtanga、跟Andrey Lappa學習Universal瑜伽。

 

練習瑜伽已經超過14年,並且跟隨過幾位國際公認的教師學習,如Swami Durgananda, Swami Sivadasananda, Andrey Lappa, David Swenson, Patrick Creelman, Sharon Gannon和David Life, Geshe Michael等。


沙卡麗是一位經驗相當豐富的瑜伽老師,已經教授過數千名學生,她的學生遍佈世界各地,如西班牙、法國、英國、奧地利、葡萄牙、德國、波蘭、阿根廷、秘魯、香港、中國、台灣、泰國和印度。她定期在國際施化難陀瑜珈吠檀多中心(the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers)教導基礎師資培訓課程和進階高級師資培訓課程。


在台灣遇見麥可羅區格西(Geshe Michael Roach)之後,沙卡麗老師便參加了他的尼古瑪瑜伽師資培訓課程,也了解到讓體內的脈輪(chakras)依序打開,並且讓能量流入中脈(central channel)是多麼有力量的一種修練方式,她感受到與麥可格西和藏傳佛學有更深的連接,從那個時候開始,她便教授尼古瑪瑜伽系列課程給她的學生,和持續地與大眾分享佛學的深度智慧。


沙卡麗老師認為她人生的主要目標是成為傳遞瑜伽的工具,將她所學到的一切都無私地奉獻給大眾。
